Cancellation Policy

When a participant registers for an event, which requires payment in full, they are purchasing space in that event. We understand things happen that are out of the control of the participant and Florida Firearms Adventures. Below we list how various cancellations are handled.

Participant decides they will not attend and notifies Florida Firearms Adventures two weeks ahead of the date of the event, a full refund will be issued. Refund issued usually within 30 days, but no longer than 45.

Participant decides they will not attend and notifies Florida Firearms Adventures with less than two weeks before the date of the event. A voucher (good for one year) is issued that may be redeemed by the original participant that registered or may be transferred to another participant after Florida Firearms Adventures approves transfer.

Vouchers and transfers usually issued in 2-3 days, but no longer than a week. NOTE: Florida Firearms Adventures may in fact determine a full refund is due based on circumstances presented at cancellation and may upgrade to a refund.

Florida Firearms Adventures determines that the participants activities during said event are disruptive or a safety concern. Participant is separated from event. If the event has not reached the half way point, a full refund is issued to the participant . Refund issued usually within 30 days, but no longer than 45.

Florida Firearms Adventures determines that the participants activities during said event are disruptive or a safety concern. Participant is separated from event. If the event has in fact reached the half way point, a pro rata (rated hourly) refund is issued to the participant excluding the actual event time.

Example: Participant is told by Florida Firearms Adventures after morning event they are being separated from the event, they are issued a 50% participant refund. Alternately, if the separation occurs in the first 4 hours a full refund is issued.

Florida Firearms Adventures does not cancel events prior to the start time of the event based on weather reports. Our policy is to gather the group at the designated start time and location, and make a real time determination as to if the event can go on safely. If event is cancelled based on real time weather observations Florida Firearms Adventures will offer a full refund, or an event voucher may be issued. This is the choice of the participant.
